Heating, ventilation and air conditioning are often abbreviated as HVAC is not far from the coating industry. The use and prominence of powder coating in this market is a given as many of the components for this sector. Coatings used in this industry would be required for either protective reasons or for aesthetics.  Both steel (where protection and corrosion resistance are very important), galvanized and aluminum are frequently used as substrates of choice.
